The Urban Fabric series are aggregates of memory, experience and place. Created as large format photomontage artworks, they evoke the visceral experience and sensations of urban space. The India series from 2021 explores how hostile architecture often forms the landscape of the urban poor and how the ever-increasing scale of infrastructure comes to dominate the human form. The convergence of spiritual space, practice and the built world are also portrayed. This body of work is further expanded upon in the book Departures.
